 What do I need to do if I’m unable to secure the exterior lever on my SmartCode 917?

1. Make sure to insert the key and turn 90 degrees clockwise

2. The first step will allow access to the pre-installed set screw – only step left is to tighten using the include “Allen Wrench” in the direction shown above.
