As a comprehensive solution, Halo Select offers both Wi-Fi and Matter compatibility, filling a crucial gap in the market for homeowners seeking reliable, integrated smart home devices. Kwikset recently teased this new innovation at the Samsung Developer Conference earlier this month.
Available through the Kwikset app, Halo Select allows users to control their front door from anywhere, whether locking or unlocking, all without traditional keys. The lock also integrates geofence technology, automatically unlocking the door as the user returns home. Its easy-to-use RGB status icon and dedicated keypad indicators make interaction simple and intuitive.

Looking ahead, Kwikset is preparing to launch Halo Select Plus, which will include Apple Home Key integration, providing even more flexibility for users seeking advanced smart home control.
Kwikset’s Halo Select will be available in Kwikset’s warehouse starting today, with professional channel distributors and dealers receiving the product shortly after. Lowe’s is expected to stock the product both online and in stores in mid-November.
